Chrystie Keller: author, entrepreneur, hypnotherapist, and veteran is also a mother and grandmother.
She’s competed in many challenging athletic endeavors; Twenty-one full and numerous half ironmans to include the Ironman World Championships.
Numerous ultra, trail and road marathons to include the coveted ‘Boston' and ‘Let's Climb a Mountain’.
She has successfully competed in numerous body building competitions as a natural athlete as well being on a women’s four season bike racing team.
Her positive energy for life grew along with her passion for endurance sports and other challenging endeavors.
Chrystie ultimately taught herself how to be mindful.
“It made, whatever I was doing, more rewarding as well as being personally successful. I realized that when I applied the same training principles to my everyday life, it had similar positive effects as well”, states Chrystie.
By having this growth mindset, a belief in one’s ability to grow, change and improve, Chrystie ultimately trained herself to manage stress to the betterment of her health and wellbeing.
‘The Garden of Calilily’ is based on an actual garden that she, her daughter, and granddaughter created.
“I wanted to bring all the little figurines we staged in the garden to life, explained Chrystie. “I was inspired to create a unique birthday present for my granddaughter. Incorporating mindfulness skillsets into the story was only natural”, she concluded.
The Grody Gang of Mosswoods, is Chrystie’s second book, due out this year.
