Meet Chrystie Keller

Chrystie Keller is a children’s author with a mission: to help kids feel confident, capable, and deeply connected to their own imagination.

Her books—The Garden of Calilily (Readers’ Favorite ★★★★★ Award) and The Grody Gang of Mosswoods—use adventure and imagination to teach subtle lessons about self-belief and inner strength, blending adventure with emotional learning, gently teaching children how to trust themselves, overcome challenges, and recognize their own inner strength.

Before becoming an author, Chrystie spent years pushing the limits of what she believed was possible—competing across a wide range of endurance and strength sports, including Ironman World Championships, ultra-distance trail running, bike racing, and physique bodybuilding competitions.

These experiences weren’t about winning; they were about discovering what happens when determination meets heart.

Chrystie believes that stories can spark bravery, imagination, and self-belief—one page at a time. Her goal is not just to entertain, but to help children discover the quiet superpower within themselves.

Her athletic life eventually led her to study mindset, visualization, and confidence-building techniques—work that evolved into becoming a mindfulness coach and certified hypnotherapist. Today, she blends imagination with emotional development, helping children build inner resilience while they fall in love with reading.

Chrystie believes that stories are a gateway to possibility—and that books can teach a child the most important lesson of all:

“You are braver than you think, and capable of more than you know!”
